Chef Owner - Suzanne Trice

After 23 years in education as a Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Director of Operations, Suzanne  took a leap of faith and followed a lifelong  dream. At 48,  she quit her job and went to culinary school! She attended the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City and graduated top of her class with the Most Likely to Succeed Award.  She externed and later was employed  at The Modern, a two star Michelin restaurant in NYC under the direction of Executive Chef, Thomas Allen.  She then worked for a catering company in Dover, NH, The White Apron,  doing production and events in the New England area.  At the close of the season, Suzanne was off to her  yachting journey where she was the sole chef on several yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. During this time, she got many accolades during her first  charter season and won first place in the Chef de Concours competition at the Annual Antigua Boat show in December 2022.  Currently Suzanne  does some  freelance yacht cheffing but focuses her time as chef owner of Sweetwater Kitchen, LLC., a private chef and catering  company serving New Hampshire’s lakes region and the seacoast. 

After two successful seasons, Suzanne decided to take on the task of building out her own commercial kitchen space to support her private cheffing and catering business - a true labor of love. The space is located in Alton, NH and though not open to the public as it is pa production kitchen rather than a walk in store front, she welcomes current and potential clients to come by the kitchen, please email or call to set up an appointement. Commercial kitchen is by appointment only. Opening May 2025.
